[[Anne]] has been feeling stressed lately and needs her time away from the family to relax and get massage. She leaves [[Tom]] in charge after giving him a huge rule book. [[The Harper Quads|The kids]] are excited because they know Tom will let them do whatever they want since Anne is the one who makes the rules. However, Tom remains strong, telling the kids that ''if they pay the rent, they can make their own rules.''

The kids take the expression literally and start looking for money in order to start paying the rent and making their own rules. They try running a lemonade stand but it fails due to terrible customer service and terrible lemonade. Luckily, they run into a guy who asks to rent their garage. He signs the contract and moves in. Unfortunately, he brings in his rock band into the garage. The band starts practicing in the garage so loud that the Harpers can't concentrate on anything. The quads try to kick the band out but they're bound by the contract.

Unable to kick the band out, the quads come clean to their father. He tells them that saying they can make their own rules when they pay rent is just an expression. He tries to help kick the band out but he is too weak. So, the quads and their dad dress up as rock stars with tiny little instruments to challenge the band. But the band's equipments are too powerful compared to the Harper's little ones that can't even make much noise. The Harpers are clearly losing.

Luckily, Anne decides to return home early since her massage lady constantly kept reminding her of the kids she was trying to avoid. She comes in and saves the day by asking the rock band to leave in a very commanding voice.

Rock 'n' Rules is the thirteenth episode in Season 2 of Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. It first aired on January 9, 2016 to 1.47 million viewers.

Plot

Summary

With Anne away, the Harper quads rent their garage to a rock band in order to have money and start making their own house rules.

Full Plot

Anne has been feeling stressed lately and needs her time away from the family to relax and get massage. She leaves Tom in charge after giving him a huge rule book. The kids are excited because they know Tom will let them do whatever they want since Anne is the one who makes the rules. However, Tom remains strong, telling the kids that if they pay the rent, they can make their own rules.
