Mae doesn't like the idea because urban legends are not true news. That would be going against the FuzzFeed newspaper motto: "Real News, The Truth, Important Stuff." Dawn refuses to listen to Mae and insists on running the article. This leads to a fight between Mae and Dawn, causing Mae to quit.

With Mae out of the picture, Dawn goes ahead and runs the article. It gets so much attention from the school that everyone wants even more. To keep the buzz going, Dawn promises to give them an interview with the real Pigfoot. Since Dawn doesn't actually know where to get Pigfoot, she asks Nicky to put on a Pigfoot costume and show up at Edgewood School for interview. Unfortunately, chaos ensue during the interview and Nicky is exposed. Everyone turns against Dawn for lying to them.

Luckily, Mae swoops in to save the day by bringing in the real Pigfoot - Harry Kalwaski. Harry tells the students that he's not actually part pig. He explains the story of how the rumor started. After that, Dawn apologizes to Mae for caring more about popularity that telling the truth. Mae and Dawn make up and return to running the newspaper together.

Urban Legend Outfitters is the third episode in Season 2 of Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. It first aired on June 6, 2015 to an audience of 1.08 million viewers.

Plot

Summary

When Dawn fakes a story for her column on the school's website, the urban legend of Pigfoot begins to take over Edgewood.[1]
